I am the knit designer, friendly neighbourhood boysmom, full-time teacher & crafty girl behind this unique yarn webshop. Nestled within a charming dikehouse on a peaceful Dutch-Belgian polder, our yarn webshop brings a world of inspiration and creativity straight to your doorstep. While we may not have a physical brick and mortarshop, our passion for yarn knows no boundaries. We proudly ship our carefully curated selection of fibers, colors, and textures worldwide, connecting crafters from every corner of the globe.

As a little girl I dreamed of having my own yarn webshop - a place where I could share the most beautiful yarns with other creative people. And now, years later, that dream has become reality.
At Ginger & Thyme we believe in the importance of carefully selected yarns. We spend a lot of time and effort finding the very best quality and the most special colors and textures. What sets us apart is our passion for supporting both well-known and lesser-known wool brands. Over the years we have proudly collaborated with a wide range of yarn brands, all sharing the same love and dedication for the craft.
Ginger & Thyme is a unique yarn shop where you will discover wool. We have already collaborated with many renowned brands such as Knitting for Olive, Lamana, BC Garn, FONTY, Plötulopi, Kremke, Manos del Uruguay, Schoppelwolle... but also with young, upcoming yarn brands such as GABO WOOL, MAJO GARN, MUSA, UN-TOLD..

Hand-dyed.
Ginger & Thyme is an indie-dyed yarn label, hand-dyed in the Netherlands & Belgium.
Due to our unique location and the fact that we dye with local yarns from Zeeland, Ginger & Thyme is hand-dyed in the Netherlands & Belgium. We always dye in small quantities - in addition to regular hand-dyed yarns, we also dye botanically, with herbs and plants from on and around the polder.
Because we only dye a few times a year, things can sometimes go quickly, when we announce a new collection or our yarn advent. Don't want to miss anything? Be sure to sign up for our newsletter!

We only use recyclable or recycled packaging materials, adapt our packaging to the contents, reuse and make little use of filling material. We ship locally and work with fixed postal points.
